Jolie, brother to split mother's insurance money

Malaysia Sun (IANS) Sunday 15th April, 2007

Actress Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven are to split the $1.2 million in insurance money their mother left them as per the instructions of her will.

Their mother Marcheline Bertrand died in January due to cancer and the details of her will have been made public, reports contactmusic.com.

Bertrand in her own handwriting claims she is still owed $180,000 in spousal support from her ex-husband actor Jon Voight. She named Jolie and Haven co-executors of her estate and has left $100,000 each to Jolie's children Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh.

Jolie and her father Jon Voight have had a falling out for years now and though Voight has made attempts at reconciliation, Jolie has not responded.
