Scary Spice takes Eddie Murphy to court to prove he's her baby daddy!

Malaysia Sun (ANI) Thursday 3rd May, 2007

London, May 3 : Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is taking American actor Eddie Murphy to court to prove that he is indeed her baby daddy.

Scary Spice, who became pregnant shortly after beginning a relationship with the actor, was dumped by Murphy five months into her pregnancy, with the star also claiming that he was not the baby's father.

The singer gave birth to a daughter Angel Iris last month, and now Mel B has gone to court to force the actor into giving a DNA sample to determine the paternity of the little girl, that Scary Spice insists is his.

"I want him to be a responsible parent but he's not doing a DNA test and he's not signing the birth certificate. So it's going to court so he can be forced to do it," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

Meanwhile Eddie Murphy's family rep has rubbished rumours that the reason the actor was claiming that he had not fathered Mel B's baby, was because he had had a vasectomy.

The rumours started after Eddie's older brother Charlie Murphy, was reportedly overheard telling fans that the actor had gotten a vasectomy, making Mel's claims impossible.

However, the rep denied that Charlie Murphy had ever made such a comment.

"As far as I know, this [incident] never happened. How would I know if my brother had a vasectomy? Charlie Murphy does not have the itinerary on any man's penis!" Us Weekly quoted the rep, as saying.
