Indian strike holds up flights

In India, many domestic airline flights have been cancelled after a strike.
Some airport workers, most of whom belong to communist unions, went on strike against the government's economic policies, especially the privatisation of airports.
Both airline and bank workers in India have gone on strike before to protest against reforms in their industries.
A number of flights from the Indian capital, Delhi, were cancelled because of the 12-hour strike which began on Monday morning.
