United and Continental flights in Midwest unsettled

Malaysia Sun Monday 13th December, 2010

United Continental Airlines has warned passengers to continually check whether flight plans might be affected by severe winter weather.

Weather conditions have made air travel difficult over the past days with many delays and cancellations of flights at United’s hub at Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Continental’s hub at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Operations officers at the airline desks have warned customers should check their flight status on united.com or continental.com before leaving for airports.

If travel plans need to be altered customers have been advised to try to manage their reservations through the respective company’s websites.

Customers are also able to book a new reservation, change an existing reservation or check flight status by calling United Reservations at 800-UNITED-1 or Continental Reservations at 800-525-0280.
