TESDA 2 officials and LGU City of Ilagan lead the official opening of the World Cafe of

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, August 27, (PIA) - At least 60 job applicants who have finished skills training and have National Certificate issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) here were hired-on-the-spot during the World Cafe of Opportunities Jobs Fair held in this city on Monday.
TESDA Isabela head Igmedio Casticon said the jobs fair was primarily intended to cater the more than 400 individuals who have finished skills trainings from TESDA accredited schools.
"We want to give opportunites to our TESDA graduates to be hired and work in various fields where their skills are necessarily needed," Casticon said.
At least 20 recruitment agencies participated in the jobs fair according to Casticon.
He expressed thanks to the City Government of Ilagan for the partnership endowed and had acknowledged that in the provice of Isabela alone, there are already thousands of TESDA graduates.
The "World Cafe of Opportunities" that was conducted with the support of various stakeholders served as a 'one-stop-shop' for TVET graduates/alumni where national government agencies, private companies, tech-voc institutions and financing institutions converge in strategic locations offered all possible employment, training and financing opportunities and facilitate higher job-skill matching.
