TOKYO, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened mixed on Monday, as market players took a cue on gains in U.S. shares late last week and concerns about the benchmark Nikkei's recent rapid rises.
When the marked opened here, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average increased 84.27 points, or 0.32 percent, from Friday to 26,728.98.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 4.54 points, or 0.25 percent, at 1,781.98.
Information and communication issues comprised those that increased the most in the opening minutes after the morning bell, while real estate and mining issues led the decliners.
