NEW DELHI -- A total of 13,313 new COVID-19 cases were recorded from across India over the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 43,344,958, revealed the data released by the federal health ministry on Thursday.
This was the second occasion in less than a week when the number of new cases crossed the 13,000-mark in the country. (India-COVID-19)

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia reported 2,425 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Wednesday, bringing the national total to 4,547,051, according to the Health Ministry.
