HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, June 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- TmaxSoft announced a strategic partnership with Shinhan DS to jointly advance digital transformation initiatives in Southeast Asia on June 23.
This partnership follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in May, in which TmaxSoft and Shinhan DS agreed jointly drive digital transformation across Southeast Asia. At the signing ceremony, held at Shinhan Financial Group's newly opened office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, CEOs Hyongyong Lee (TmaxSoft) and Bokki Min (Shinhan DS), along with senior executives, reviewed customer needs and industry trends, reinforcing their shared commitment to global expansion through strategic collaboration.
Executives from both organizations held in-depth discussions on key areas for cooperation, including customer service operations, technical support, and the exchange of skilled personnel. These discussions further refined a comprehensive collaboration model and aligned joint business strategies. Through this partnership, TmaxSoft aims to deliver its core enterprise solutions, including JEUS and WebtoB to the Vietnamese market via Shinhan DS, establishing a comprehensive cooperation model tailored to local business needs.
The partnership is expected to enhance the companies' ability to address growing demand for digital transformation and IT infrastructure modernization in Southeast Asia, with an initial focus on Vietnam.
Shinhan DS hosted the "Connect Vietnam 2025: Digital Finance & Technology Forum," welcoming local customers and partners. During the event, Steve Goh, Vice President and Head of Global Business Division at TmaxSoft, delivered a session titled "Driving Digitalization with TmaxSoft", showcasing DX strategies tailored for cloud environments, along with global success cases.
TmaxSoft, recognized as Korea's No.1 middleware provider for 13 consecutive years, is actively broadening its global footprint in Southeast Asia, North America, and Japan. Through this partnership, TmaxSoft seeks to strengthen regional competitiveness and extend its portfolio to serve markets including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
To drive global growth and enhance regional competitiveness, TmaxSoft has formed a strategic alliance with Shinhan DS, an established ICT leader in the region with a strong track record of customer success. Starting with Vietnam, the two companies plan to leverage their combined expertise in software, services, sales, and network infrastructure to support regional projects.
"This collaboration provided a valuable opportunity to closely examine the essential foundations for driving global business success and to explore a range of new opportunities," said Hyongyong Lee, CEO of TmaxSoft. "We look forward to achieving tangible results based on our mutual understanding and shared sense of purpose.
"This agreement goes beyond simple product supply," said Bokki Min, CEO of Shinhan DS. "It is about becoming a reliable partner by transferring practical know-how to local partners in Vietnam, based on our accumulated technological expertise and project experience across various industries. We are committed to introducing Korea's proven ICT solutions to the Vietnamese market and delivering technologies and services tailored to the local environment, contributing to the global expansion of K-software."
