Washington, DC [US], May 31 (ANI): US President Donald Trump lashed out at the American judicial framework following successive legal verdicts that obstructed a core element of his economic agenda and invalidated the integration of his name onto the prominent Kennedy Center.
In an extensive text published on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump asserted, '...our Court System is RIGGED, no different than our Political System is RIGGED, and the people of our Country know it and that is why I got overwhelmingly elected President, in Record Numbers, and will FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!'
The incumbent leader has routinely targeted judicial declarations that oppose his directives during his second term, frequently issuing direct rebukes against federal magistrates and conservative Supreme Court jurists when their judgments contradict his policies.
The trend was highlighted once more as Trump rebuked US District Judge Christopher Cooper, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, according to a report by The Hill.
Cooper had legally halted the rebranding of the Kennedy Center and suspended a proposed temporary closure of the cultural complex for extensive structural enhancements over the summer.
Trump alleged that Cooper was swayed by his spouse, legal practitioner Amy Jeffress, whom the president characterised as a 'Radical Left Democrat' linked with his partisan rivals.
Jeffress functions as a legal partner at Hecker Fink, a New York-based practice that provided legal representation to author E. Jean Carroll in her successful civil claim against Trump concerning allegations of sexual battery and defamation.
Public disclosures emerged earlier in the week suggesting the Department of Justice was reviewing allegations of potential perjury committed by Carroll during the civil trials.
However, the chief federal prosecutor based in Chicago subsequently clarified that his department has not initiated any criminal investigation involving the 82-year-old columnist, The Hill reported.
In his social media remarks, Trump stated, 'Amy is totally wired into the Left System, from her husband down, and it is impossible for me to be treated fairly.'
He added, 'He has a total Conflict of Interest and should be brought up on charges for not revealing these facts. That is why The Kennedy Center will soon be closed, probably never to open again.'
The president also directed sharp criticism toward a February ruling from the Supreme Court that nullified the primary components of his comprehensive trade tariffs.
The high court determined that those fiscal measures exceeded the executive authority granted by the US Constitution.
Commenting on the financial fallout, Trump observed, 'That is why, at a different level, and with different players, our Country lost the TARIFF Case and is forced to pay back 149 Billion Dollars in money received from people who hate everything we stand for.'
According to a report by The Hill, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the federal body responsible for collecting trade tariffs and customs duties on international goods, is currently administering the distribution of more than USD 160 million in financial reimbursements to relevant importing entities and brokers who paid the duties prior to their legal invalidation.
